There should be a lot more emphasis on child’s abilities rather than going by his behaviour and impairments.
Why child is showing a particular behaviour, posture or movement pattern?
What lies beneath the surface of behaviour and these difficulties is the hidden answer to the question.
As an Occupational Therapist, my focus is not just on treating your child’s diagnosis, but in understanding the child through clinical observations and playful interactions.
Give them a helping hand and walk confidently with them towards their dream. My effort was always to empower the parents so that they can guide their child through their journey.
